“Blast Off into Space” is Kate Mawdsley’s newest collection for Henry Glass Fabrics. She came up with these colorful prints after chatting with her grandson Leo over the internet during quarantine. She often noticed that he was wearing t-shirts or pajamas with rockets. Also, his Christmas wish list included rockets and all sort of things to do with space travel. She thought it would be fun to create a space line that was bright, full of planets and colorful rockets with vapor trails of multicolored stars and space ships. Surely the sky is the limit to create any project with these fun prints. One can make a fast quilt, a wall hanging, a pillow case, a drawstring backpack, face masks and sew much more.
